The pure Hoodia dit pills have been receiving rave reviews these days. People taking it have spoken a lot good about it. But still there are many who doubt the efficacy of pure Hoodia. Let us take a look at how effective this pill is and where is taken from. It is a well known fact that this pill is used by those who want to control their weigh and go on dieting. The qualities of Hoodia plant was first recognized by the Bushmen of Kalahari Desert. Later a detailed research was conducted by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. It was discovered that though Hoodia plant is poisonous but it has some qualities by which it suppresses the appetite. Its effect was visibly seen on the animals. Later the plant began to be processed to manufacture pills as diet pills for obese people.

The weight loss by pure Hoodia led it to popularity and the pills were ascended in the market. But there is something more to it than just its effect on weight loss that needs to be explained. It was during the research the CSIR eliminated the ingredients of pure Hoodia and found them responsible for increasing the process of fat burning in the body. Moreover they were found to be instrumental in suppressing the appetite also.  It was also revealed that it is P57 that is responsible for increasing the body’s ability for appetite suppression and fat burning. The findings also revealed the mechanism of pure Hoodia. It is the work of P57 that makes a person feel that he no longer needs eating like that of glucose level that tells brain that body no longer needs food.

In short the work of pure Hoodia diet pills is to give you a feeling that there is no need to eat any more. Person taking Hoodia diet pills does feel like eating and therefore does not overeat. But problem is that there various Hoodia diet pills in the market. All manufacturers sell their product in the name of Hoodia diet pills and claim their product to be made of pure Hoodia. But it is only Phytopharm that has been given license to be sold as it contains P57, the main ingredient of the pure Hoodia. Hence while buying Hoodia one has to take in to account whether the product is really made of pure hoodia plant or not. Products sold in the name of Hoodia Godonii may not be what it claims to be.

In that case consumption of such products may prove to be harmful for your health. The main problem is that Hoodia plant has not been patented. Therefore, all the companies produce Hoodia Plants on their own and manufacture pills. But to what extent they follow the right procedure is not certain. But they can sell the pill legally. Many of these pills are just imitations and therefore prove ineffective. On they are very expensive but many of the customers easily fall prey to it and lose their money without getting any actual benefit.
